A Cat and Deer Tale- in Pictures!

Here is a little cat and deer incident that I was lucky enough to capture on camera recently.

Felix the cat, was just lolling in the field, enjoying a breeze, minding his own business. A doe came out of the woods, and noticed Felix. See the doe really looking Felix's way? Her ears are like antenna's, pointing towards the cat.

The doe decides to move closer and check out this creature lying there, and you can see the cautious expression on her face. Felix isn't budging from his spot.

The doe moves even closer, really taking a good look now. Felix looks back, but isn't a bit intimidated.

"Nothing to worry about," the doe seems to be thinking, or maybe even saying in deer language, since you can see her mouth moving.

"I wasn't worried," Felix the cat seems to be saying, as he continues to enjoy his spot in the field.

The doe finally walked back into the woods, and Felix got hungry and came to eat his lunch.

The End! :-)

I hope you enjoyed my little cat and deer tale in pictures. Animals can be very entertaining.

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone.

Adorable! And what a brave Felix!
You'd think he'd fun from such a large animal! cute. I guess the doe figured he was safe and too little to hurt her.

What a cute story and the photos are great. I bet your Granddaughter would have loved to have seen that in person.

Have a wonderful week-end. It's been hot and humid here also.

We worked outside a little while this morning, I don't usually sweat, but believe me when I came in my face was dripping.

Wow! You must have had your camera around your neck! Gee, what great pictures!!! And Felix was such a brave little guy, wasn't he? LOL You KNOW without a doubt how much I LOVED this post!!! Whose cat is Felix? Too bad your granddaughter wasn't there to see it, huh?

Nature is strange....like the deer looking the cat all over! Guess it knew it wasn't one of his own kind! LOL

What delightful pictures and the story to go along with it.

Nature is better entertainment than any TV show. Oh, well, I do like to watch Nature shows on TV as well, though.

It's been hot and humid in my area of the woods also...but still like it better than winter...I can turn on the AC in the summer and stay cool...but winter is a different story;))

Have a delightful week-end.

Loved the photos. Hope this finds you doing well. We are doing good, just been busy. HOpe the heat out your way hasn't been like it has here. Yesterday the temps got up to 105 and that was in the shade. AAHHHH....just another day here in the South. I've been getting up at dawn to ride my horse for it gets so hot during the day. Hope you and yours have a blessed day.

Mike and I really love seeing all your pictures. Your a blessed woman to see all of God's works. I bet you never have a dull day. I think I told you??? We were out for a drive the other night and a Doe was right next to the road...I rolled down the window and talked to her. She just stood there,I could have almost touched her....Where's my camera in all this you ask....At home. Story of my life....If I had it with me we wouldn't have seen her.

Good evening Renie,

I'm a little more up beat tonight. I need to pratice what I preach. I know God is in charge, things happen for a reason and he will answer my prayers in his time not mine. I don't know why we humans forget that sometimes.

Thanks for stopping by and for the pep talk.

Love and {{Hugs}}
