This Is A Test!
I haven't been on blogger in ages. So here I am, and this is just a test. Everything looks so different. Since it has been extremely hot for over a week, I am mostly stuck in the house. BORING! We did go out to eat today, and the restaurant was packed. Guess the heat doesn't bother people like it does me. Everyone was chatting away and putting it away. The food, that is. LOL. Okay, it was actually very nice to be out with friends, enjoying the company and the buffet, in the air conditioned restaurant. But I can not spend much time outdoors, or I get sick! No fun for an outdoor lover.

Now lets see if I can post this.

What a nice surprise to see you on my reader! This heat to too much for anyone! At least they have cancelled the fireworks in my area. I never have like the neighborhood ones. Professional displays are nice...but too many shooting them off at all hours and all over the yard, etc. They could seriously start a lot of fires this year with this dry hot weather. Hope you are able to blog some more while you are indoors. I have missed your blog posts.
Aww, thank you Brenda! No fireworks allowed around here either. Too hot and too dry, and the threat of wild fires is high. Scares me, since I have nothing but woods all around me. Happy 4th of July! So nice to hear from you.
What a pleasant surprise!! I love you on facebook, but have missed you on Blogger. Looking forward to more posts from you. It actually cooled off to 70 degress after the storm today. Hope it stays cool tomorrow at least long enough to pick up the trash in the yard. Mostly leaves and pine cones. Welcome back!!

We are having tiple digit temps here now for over a week. They say it has not been this hot this long since the dirty thirties. I remember my mom telling how bad it was.
We are having some bad fires around us also.
