Amen to that, and hopefully more people will start showing more respect to our new President. No matter if the President is white, black, red or yellow, man or woman, they should be shown some respect.
Have a wonderful week-end Renie. I am going to have my other eye done on Oct. 22nd. Can hardly wait, probably won't have to wear glasses for a while.
I am watching tributes across several channels this a.m.
It is one of those days like the assassination of JKF that is frozen in time in my memory.
Despite all the "fingerpointing" blame shaming, etc. it has not been repeated on our homeland, but certainly terror events still happen world-wide. And I fear we are, and always will be, at risk regardless of the changing political winds. National politics have nothing to do with this kind of HATE.
Sad day for us all. Glad to see your post and hope you are well and happy. Thanks for all your visits. It is a lovely day in Jonesboro but the rain is on its way, look out you most of the time get it first.LOL Patsy
Yes, God Bless America!!! I pray the families of those lost are doing well.
How are you Renie? I haven't been doing much blogging. I have a surgery coming up and am not feeling my best right now but trust our heavenly Father I will be feeling great very soon. God bless you and yours!
How can we ever forget. I agree with Patty that part of our patriotism is to show respect for our President. Also, as Christians I think we need to be respectful of his office, if not him personally.
Hi Miss Renie! Just stopped in to say hi and see what you are up to. It's been a while since I posted so thought I'd drop in and say howdy! Hope you are well and enjoying this fallish weather that we have been having! xoxox
I know exactly where I was when I saw the TV. I remember thinking it was a preview to a new movie. Isn't it sad how we are immersed in movies here, that we don't know what's real and what isn't?
I will be watching "Dancing.." also tonight. I counted the commercials last night and there was 77 maybe 2 or 3 more. They took up 35 minutes of the show. I don't know if I will be able to hang in there watching the show with so many commercials they drive me crazy. hahaha.... Have a nice evening talk to you later.
I hope that won't happen again anywhere in this world. A dust storm is something we cannot avoid, but we must fight against hatred which causes terrorists attacks!
Born in Hungary, I'm a freelance writer, mainly writing inspirational stories and articles. I've been published in 60 anthologies, including several Chicken Soup for the Soul books, many magazines, and many online venues. I am a Mom to 2 great sons and a daughter, and Nana to 3 beautiful granddaughters. I love nature, animals, reading and writing, but mostly I love spending time with my family and friends!

I sure can never forget, as I got backed over that day and still carry the pain from it! God Bless America and pray it never happens again!

The pictures of 9/11 are still very fresh in my memory. SAD! So many innocent lives were lost on that tragic day.
Take care, my dear friend (((HUGS))) Renie.
Wonderful tribute Renie. A day we will never forget here in Canada too...
Amen! May this never ever happen again!
Oh Renie,
How can we ever forget. I agree with Patty that part of our patriotism is to show respect for our President. Also, as Christians I think we need to be respectful of his office, if not him personally.
~hippo hugs~
Amen to that statement. Have a nice week.
Every time I see a flag, I think of Lee Greenwood's song, "God Bless the USA." It brings tears to my eyes and makes me proud to be an American...

I enjoyed seeing your photos of the saddle club group in the previous post! What fun!
