Fascinating Facts!!!

I don't usually post things I receive in my emails, but last week someone sent me some fascinating facts that I thought you may all enjoy finding out about. The email titled these:

A Coincidence????

A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye. The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye...and science shows that carrots greatly
enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.

A Tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart is red and has four
chambers. All of the research shows tomatoes are indeed pure heart and blood food.

Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the research today shows that grapes are also
profound heart and blood vitalizing food.

A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds are on the nut just like the neo-cortex. We now know that walnuts help develop over 3 dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.

Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys.

Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough sodium in your diet the body pulls it from the bones, making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.

Eggplant, Avocados and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs. Today's research shows that when a woman eats 1 avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight and prevents cervical cancers.

And how profound is this? .... It takes exactly 9 months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. Just like a baby!

There are over 14,000 photolytic chemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (modern science has only studied and named about 141 of them).

Sweet Potatoes look like the pancreas and actually balance the glycemic index of diabetics.

Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries.

Onions look like body cells. Today's research shows that onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes.

"The news isn't that fruits and vegetables are good for you, it's that they are so good for you, they can save your life." David Bjerklie, TIME
Magazine, Oct. 2003.

I hope you enjoyed finding out these fascinating facts about fruits and vegetables.

Have a great day!

It is interesting isn't it? I had received one like this one, except it had photos of each vegetable/fruit. But very interesting facts.

Yesterday was a beautiful day, humidity was low if any, sun was out, nice puffy clouds and temps were just right for me. We didn't need our AC on. I just wish I could find a place to live year round where the weather would be this nice. I think today is suppose to be a repeat. Have a good day.

My Grandfather always had vegies growing and was a big one for no chemicals. He wrote letters constantly about the dangers of using so many chemicals. One that he was against DDT was eventually banned, but we are surrounded by so much more. To me Mother Nature is giving us a clue of what to eat. An email worth sending for sure. Best to you Miss Renie, Barbara

This is my first visit to your blog.

Always valuable to learn new facts that will help keep us healthy!

What a beautiful, inspiring post you did for Father's Day! We had friends from Hungary who also were refugess to Austria. Small World! (Their name was Kovacs.) I always loved the stories they told. I admire you greatly and also your Apa!

I see you have cats. I have 33 indoor cats myself! I have them separated in different areas in my home, so it's not as bad as it sounds, trust me. I have one named "Oreo" who resembles your "Orie" alot. I don't have her photo on my blog yet, but I will add it soon. I need to take a recent pic of her.

Drop by my blog and check out some of my cat photos. I got most of them through rescue. I have tamed a lot of ferals and still have a few that I'm still working on!

I'll be back!

Hi Renie,

Thanks for dropping by my blog and leaving a comment! When you come back to visit, be sure to check out some of my older posts in March and April about my children's cats, both of which had radiation treatments for cancer. Sweet Pea's cancer was a fibrosarcoma caused by those feline leukemia shots! I quit getting them for my cats years ago! (Those vets want to make all the money they can!) It was pitiful to put them through the treatments, but both are cancer free at present. Punky's cancer was an osteosarcoma, rarely ever found in the jaw, as hers was, and we were told it would come back in 3 to 6 months. Sweet Pea's last CT scan showed no cancer at all! It was thousands of dollars but worth it in the end, thus far!

The Kovacs we know are Eugene (AKA Gene) and Katherine. Wonderful, wonderful people!!! Besides having friends from Hungary, I also found out a few years ago, after a geneology search, that my paternal grandfather was of German descent! Looks like you and I have quite a few things in common. It is a small world, isn't it?

I look forward to your visit next time!

Have a great weekend!

Renie,

I read this about fruits and vegetables a while back but had forgotten about it. Thanks for posting...:)

I also read somewhere that people who eat a lot of yams have a lower incident of luekemia -

And cranberries are good for women's health - particularly the kidneys and bladder.

Regardless of how food looks to the human eye, it seems that nature has everything that we need.

I'll be sure and print this post out as a reminder.
