Halloween Cat? Nope! Bad Cat? Yup!

Well, I thought I would show you Fred today. He is no Halloween cat.

But he is kind of cute, don't you think? Here he is shredding some ribbons to get his jollies.

And here he is being a bad cat!

Our weather has turned beautiful once again, with lots of sunshine and pleasant 70s, which is to continue well into next week. We don't get any trick or treaters around here. It is just too rural, and would require a lot of walking. Kids go to town to get their goodies. I miss seeing the little ghosts and goblins, but all I have to do to get some Halloween athmosphere is to go out on the deck! Lots of rustling and creeping noises from my woodland neighbors. And a whoooooooooo-whoooooo to you, Mr. Owl!

Have a Happy Halloween, and a great weekend, everyone.

Blessings from the woods.

That Fred is one gorgeous cat! They do get into everything don't they.

Well they do when they are younger. I miss their funny antics. One of mine used to walk on top of the wardrobes and the dresser. Now my two old codgers just seem to sleep and eat in the cold weather.

I feel like hibernating in winter but sometimes you just have to get motivated and do something.

haha, yes Fred is a trickster for sure! he's the trick in trick 0r treat!
I think you had kids one year no?
And very scary woodland neighbors, my kids wont even walk outside in the dark there! BOO!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween to you Renie.

Since out daughter and granddaughter have moved in with us for a while, that mean their big Black Cat they call baby kitty, Abe calls hims the black panther, also is living here now. I had forgotten how cats can climb. He has been a good cat really, he seems happy someone is with him all day.

What an amazing cat!

It's turned quite cold here and in parts of my country they have had snow.

But I'm sure the little ones will be out with their Mums & Dads.

Have a great weekend,

Best wishes,
Annie

Fred appears to be shopping. What did he select for a treat?

We put our dog out early today to not only protect the chickens but to protect the cats as well. Thankfully we don't have any black cats but I always hear cats are in danger on Halloween.

We won't have any trick-or-treaters either becaue we are rural and I miss them. We buy candy, however, and then have an excuse to eat it all ourselves:-)

What a sweet cat - love these photos Renie even if he is up to no good :)

Happy Halloween- very big here in Northern Ireland and they have fireworks tonight too rather than November 5th like we do. We never get spooky visitors at our house (in Windermere) either- too hidden away! All the neighbours are kiddie free too so no little spooks to spoil with trick or treat candies...

I think Fred is a very interesting cat. My puppies have not learned to get into the cupboard for their food. But then, they can't climb either. LOL!
I don't get many Trick or treaters here beause I'm sort of in the boon docks. Just a few neighbor kids.
Have a happy day Renie.
GOd Bless

Oh how funny, seeing Fred getting into mischief! Cats are such 'creative' creatures.
We don't get any ghosts & gobblins either...it's the tiny wee ones I miss seeing with their wide eyes of spooky glee!
Have a great weekend Renie!

Hi Rennie, Happy Halloween, I think Fred is adorable! Well, maybe not so much getting into the cupboard!! But still a cute Kitty Cat!
I am loving this weather too! Hugs, Grams

Fred looks like a fun-lovin' cat. He looks so cute being bad. I love him all decked out in his ribbons and climbing around to get into what he's not to be in...My "Mr. Jones" likes to unroll the paper towels in the kitchen every once in a while. When he is being very quiet, it's time to see what he is up to...But you just gotta love them anyway.

Have a nice and fun week-end.

Oh, I love Fred. I had a cat named Timmy when I was a little girl. He was a bad cat. He once got my grandma's crochet cotton and tied himself to the front door kinow, after he had strung it all over our house. What a mess.

Happy Halloween to ou in the woods.

Fred is a cutie! What was he looking for in the cupboard?

I've had about 10 trick or treaters so far tonight. I love seeing their costumes. Have had two bumble bees and two skunks along with the witches, pirates and all! I got a few pictures before it got too dark which I will post next week!

Have a wonderful weekend Renie! xoxo

My husband told me today, there is a half grown white cat hanging around here... said he saw her come running up with the baby goats today...I think our neighbor to the south claims this cat, but she circulates around his house, our neighbor across the road and now here... He said she is in danger here, though, as the dog, Missy, doesn't like her at all...

We don't get trick or treaters either... so I get to eat all the candy.

Happy Halloween!

Fred is a pretty boy but he sure is mischievious, isn't he?? He reminds me of my cats who are in to everything!! I hope you had a quiet evening since there are no trick or treaters around!!

Bad is all in the interpretation. Kitties are what kitties will do. Looks like Fred is a kiity with distinctive tastes. They're always good for a laugh and laughter is usually in good taste where kiities are concerned.

Fred is adorable and just doing his job...being curious!!! The weather is beautiful here too, but I feel too rotten to enjoy it.

Enjoy your weekend.

Very Handsome Fred is! Yup he sure looks like he has a great grand ole time with that ribbon, he even looks happy too.

Um...is he looking for some hidden kitty treats I wonder?

Well we didn't get any rain here so maybe tomorrow...I missed out on the trick and treaters here all the way around...Thats okay cause now the candy is all mine. Only thing is I am not looking forward at eating those creepy looking eyeballs.

Dear Renie ~~ Looks like Fred likes to get into everything. Glad your weather is beautiful - it is here also. I didn't have any kids visit for sweets this year
as we don't really celebrate Halloween.
I do miss those two cute little faces at my back door. Glad you liked the story of Wings and the NZ Policemen jokes, I hope your son also liked it. I have a few more of the Can't fix Stupid , but was too tired last night to do any more.
Take great care, my friend, Love, Merle.

Fred is a beautiful cat!!! I loved the pics! I have a little female named "Predious" who gets in my cabinets, too! She stole banana bread one night and what a mess I had on the kitchen floor the next morning! They had a ball getting it out of the plastic bag! I had an awful mess to clean up! LOL Aren't they cute? LOL Tigers like Fred are my favorites...I hav, oh, gee, I don't even know how many tigers I have now! LOL I have all kinds!

I had no Trick-or-Treaters here, either. Mostly an adult community where I live. But I always buy candy, just in case. Now...someone has to eat that candy! Wonder who that will be? LOL

I am back to blogland. I have been so busy working with "snowbirds" looking for winter rentals near Disney World in Orlando area. Keeps me busy, and then I never get done til about 2am. By the time I grab a bite and crawl into bed, it's at least 3am. I am too tired to blog then. But I did post a short one today and am going to try and do better....but can't promise that.

Glad your daughter and family will be with you at Thanksgiving. I will be going to my daughter's this year.

Have a great week now!

Oh, Renie, I made a typo! Not the first and certainly not the last. But my little fluffy gray kitty's name is "PRECIOUS"...not Predious! LOL She really is precious, too! I raised her from a bottle from Day One along with 3 others in that litter, so they are very special to me....Simon I lost at 8 months of age from kidney failure. He was such a darling little guy!

Time for me to get some dinner...can't wait until 2am tonight! LOL
