Singing in the Rain!

"I'm singing in the rain, Just singing in the rain.
What a glorious feeling, I'm happy again."

Yes, it's finally raining, and I was out there singing and dancing around, while the dogs ran around me, yipping happily. Well, until the rain got rid of all my curls, and my wet hair hung limp, like a wet mop! Then I came back in, dried my hair, and sat down at my laptop, which is right by the window looking out at the pond. I can rejoice in the rain from in here, while finishing "Grist for the Mill," and enjoying the pleasant view.
This rain today is just a drop in the bucket; everything is extremely thirsty. But it's a start, and more rain is in the forecast for the next several days. Thank you, Lord!

I was so happy that it finally rained, that I couldn't help but sing and dance. Thank you for coming by, Michele.

As Ever,

Renie,

Thank you for your kind words and visiting my blog. I have just finished reading all of your posts on this blog, and it seems to me that you are going to be a fine blogger. Just always stay true to your heart!

(Perhaps I'll be a good blogger too, only time will tell...)

The pic of the deers is lovely, I too have dears that feed in the woods in back of my house - they're kind of hard to see sometimes, the trees camouflage them so well.

Everyone loves the Chicken Soup books, back in the day I use to work part time for Border's, and I can tell you that those books sell like hotcakes. I will have to pick up a copy.

Thanks for providing a link to your articles that are on-line, I'm sure that I will enjoy them.

It's been so dry here - all of the crickets and other creatures hiding - and nothing but silence at night. So eerie! Now whenever it rains, I go to sleep at night listening to a symphony.

Enjoy the rain.:)

Hi Renie!

I'm so glad you got a little rain! Send some of it down Alabama way. :)

I've read through all your posts and loved them. And hey, thanks so much for your kinds words about my blog! You're such a sweet friend.

Have you seen your white squirrel lately? One of our squirrels hopped up on the birdbath today and took a good, long drink. Wish I'd had my camera handy!

Enjoy your rainy day. :)

Hey Anne,

What a nice surprise to have you visit again. The rain has been wonderful, but we need more. We had some today as well, and more on the way, if the forecast is right. I'll send it your way. I bet all those beautiful roses could use some extra rain!

I see the white squirrel every morning. It eats and it runs up a tree and dissapears. I have pictures of it, but I can't seem to be able to upload it to my pc! I'll have to wait until Andrea comes and does it for me.

Hope everyone is doing great!

Deborah,

Thanks so much for your kind comments. I don't know how good my blog is, but I do enjoy doing it. Your poem about lilies was lovely!

Yes, the same thing's happened here. The extremely dry weather seems to quiet everything. Even the crickets. All the critters were having a hard time. Hopefully,
it's over now, as we head towards Fall. My favorite time of the year!

Please visit again, Deborah.

Now it's not nice to call your Mom a mophead! Even if I was one.
