We had a beautiful sunrise the other morning. I took this picture of it from my kitchen window. And soon, we will be having the dawn of a new year.
I am not making any new year's resolutions this year. But I do have a motto that I have and will continue to follow in the new year. It is summed up beautifully in this little poem:
A happy New Year! Grant that I
May bring no tear to any eye
When this New Year in time shall end
Let it be said I've played the friend,
Have lived and loved and labored here,
And made of it a happy year.~Edgar Guest

Renie,
Lovely sunrise and lovely verse. I never make resolutions, if I did I wouldn't keep them anyway.
Have a lovely week.
I like that and it was a beautiful day after all that rain and cold.
Renie,
I thought your picture was stunning. I don't make resolutions either, but the one you posted sounds like the best one a person could try for. Just getting through the year without hurting anyone is something to really keep in mind. Thanks for the reminder.
Hugs and Happy New Year Renie!
Brenda
